CLAT Pro is a brand operated by Vikas HighTech Solutions, a sole proprietorship owned and managed by Vikas Goyanka ("we", "us", or "CLAT Pro"). Registered Address: Rajesh Oil Mills, Near Kotwali, Bharatpur, Rajasthan — 321 001, India.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect the personal information of users ("User", "you") of the CLAT Pro platform, including its website, mobile application, AI features, and mentorship services (collectively, the "Platform").

By registering an account or using the Platform, you unconditionally consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

We collect the following categories of personal information when you register and use the Platform:

(a) Identity & Contact Information: Full name, email address, mobile number, and profile photograph.

(b) Demographic Information: Gender.

(c) Educational & Preference Data: Preferred National Law Universities (NLU preferences), academic background, and CLAT target year.

(d) Performance Data: Mock test scores (including third-party mock results you upload to our AI Pace Tester), performance analytics, session history, and AI-generated study plans associated with your account.

(e) Voice & Conversation Recordings: When you use the Voice Mode feature of CLAT Pro AI, your voice sessions and all text-based conversations with the AI are recorded and stored. By using this feature, you expressly consent to this recording and storage.

(f) Device & Usage Data: Device type, operating system, IP address, browser type, session duration, pages visited, and feature interactions.

(g) Payment Information: Transaction ID, subscription plan, and billing history. CLAT Pro does not directly store your card number, UPI details, or banking credentials. All payment data is processed and stored by Razorpay in accordance with their security standards and PCI-DSS compliance.

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

(a) Platform Operation: To create and manage your account, process subscriptions, facilitate AI interactions, and provide mentorship services.

(b) AI Personalisation & Training: To personalise your study experience, generate tailored mock tests and study plans, and — with your consent — to train, fine-tune, and improve the CLAT Pro AI model using your voice recordings and conversation data.

(c) Communication: To send you account-related notifications, subscription updates, feature announcements, and educational content. You may opt out of non-transactional communications at any time.

(d) Analytics & Improvement: To understand how Users interact with the Platform, identify areas of improvement, and build better features.

(e) Security & Fraud Prevention: To detect and prevent unauthorised access, account sharing, and platform misuse.

(f) Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, court orders, or regulatory requirements.

CLAT Pro uses student voice sessions, text conversations, and performance data to train and continuously improve the CLAT Pro AI model. This is a core part of how we make the Platform smarter over time.

By using the Platform — in particular the Voice Mode and AI chat features — you give your explicit, informed consent to the recording, storage, and use of your interactions for AI training purposes.

Your voice recordings are stored on secured servers. We do not sell your voice data to any third party. Access to raw voice recordings is restricted to authorised technical personnel involved in AI development.

CLAT Pro does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their independent marketing or commercial purposes.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

(a) Razorpay: Payment and billing data is shared with Razorpay solely for the purpose of processing your subscription. Razorpay is bound by its own Privacy Policy and PCI-DSS standards.

(b) NLU Mentors: Your name, NLU preferences, and performance summary may be shared with your assigned NLU mentor (an independent contractor) to facilitate mentoring sessions. Mentors are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality.

(c) Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information to law enforcement, regulatory authorities, or courts when required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CLAT Pro, its Users, or the public.

(d) Business Transfers: In the event of a business acquisition, merger, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquirer as part of the transaction, subject to the same privacy protections.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide you with the Platform's services. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as dispute resolution or fraud prevention).

Voice recordings and AI training datasets derived from your interactions may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form even after account deletion, as they form part of the AI model and cannot be individually reversed.

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure server infrastructure.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.

The Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyse usage patterns. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect your ability to use certain features of the Platform.

We may use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that collect anonymised usage data. These tools are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

(a) Access: You may request a summary of the personal data we hold about you.

(b) Correction: You may update or correct inaccurate personal information directly through your account settings.

(c) Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated personal data by writing to support@clatpro.com. Note that certain data may be retained as described in the Data Retention section above.

(d) Opt-Out of Marketing: You may opt out of promotional communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.

The Platform is accessible to users aged 13 and above. We do not require parental consent for registration as the Platform is an educational subscription service. However, CLAT Pro does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete that data.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where material changes are made, notify you via email or a Platform notice.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
